Rapid Assessment on the Effects of COVID-19 Pandemic on Civil Society Organizations in Vietnam

The COVID-19 outbreak has impacted many sectors in Vietnam. Civil society organizations (CSOs) play an essential role in the country’s socio-economic development, and the current crisis presents new challenges and opportunities for their continued work. For example, over 90 percent of the CSOs included in this study expressed serious difficulties in serving and supporting beneficiaries, especially vulnerable groups. 

This report offers a well-informed overview of how the COVID-19 crisis has impacted CSOs in Vietnam.
