The Palanhar Yojana (caregiver scheme) is a cash transfer programme of the government of Rajasthan, India, for vulnerable children. In 2018, Save the Children introduced a parenting programme for caregivers receiving the scheme with a specific emphasis on enhancing parenting skills and thus promoting a better parent-child relationship. This report describes the impact of the parenting programme on the parenting skills, as envisioned in the International Child Development Programme (ICDP), and the relationship between parents and children.
