The text provides a foundation for understanding what is needed to feel good, what can empower or threaten mental health. It summarizes current available research on the prevalence of mental illness, individual as well as societal factors, as well as which organizations and departments are responsible to provide help and support. This text even addresses the shortcomings that Save the Children Sweden has identified in society. In order to achieve the rights and needs of children with mental health issues, these shortcomings have to be dealt with.
