This study examines community perceptions of child sexual abuse and exploitation in the Districts of Mopeia and Morrumbala in Mozambique’s Zambezia Province. Based on a series of focus group discussions and individual interviews, this study aims to understand what inhibits local communities for taking action. Using these findings, the report makes recommendations both for prevention of child sexual abuse and for more effective mechanisms for reporting and resolving abuse cases.
