International Plan, Save the Children International and Unicef, have developed a proposal of indicators tool to measure the compliance of the States of the installation of a system for the comprehensive protection of children’s rights and protection against violence in Latin America and the Carribean. This tool is being applied and validated in three countries, El Salvador, Panama and Peru. This report is about the application in Peru.

The tool focuses on measuring the normative and institutional frame for the protection of the rights of children and adolescents as well as of protection against violence. It draws inspiration from Article 4 of the Convention of the Rights of the Child (CRC) 1 and in the General Comment No. 5 on Measures General rules of application of the CRC.

Application of the indicator tool on the normative and institutional framework for comprehensive protection and against violence from the perspective of the rights of children and adolescents in Peru.
