PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION BRIEF | USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project (MaMoni MNCSP): Establishment of regional training centers for maternal and newborn health training

This brief summarizes USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project in Bangladesh’s (MaMoni MNCSP) work to strengthen the capacity of health service providers through training and routine clinical mentoring, which can significantly improve adherence to guidelines and therefore improve the quality of maternal and newborn health (MNH) services. Establishing Regional Training Centers (RTCs) was one intervention prioritized by the project to scale up competency-based training (both virtual and in-person) for MNH.
