Save the Children UK
Save the Children recognises that the abuse and exploitation of children happens in all countries and societies across the world. Child abuse is never acceptable and a commitment to children’s rights in general also means a commitment to safeguard the children with whom Save the Children is in contact.
This child friendly version [in Spanish] of Save the Children’s child safeguarding policy has been created to teach children how to prevent and protect themselves from physical and emotional abuse. We hope that children will enjoy reading this booklet which includes a fun-to read story that educates them of their right to protection against all types of violence. It helps children understand the important role they play in protecting themselves from abuse and exploitation and explains how to report suspicions of child abuse and maltreatment.
We invite children and young people everywhere to read more about their rights and to share this booklet with family and friends.
