Partnerships and Security Risk Management: From the local partner’s perspective

This research paper from GISF focuses on the security risks that local and national non-governmental organizations (NGOs) face and their management of them which aren’t sufficiently addressed in the partnerships with international NGOs. The research project calls for an honest conversation on security risks and investigating the perspectives of local and national NGOs on both their partnerships with international agencies and the management of security risks. The paper is informed by over 200 respondents and includes case studies from in Colombia, Ethiopia, Myanmar, and Syria.
