Participatory research with children in conflict with the law – Ethiopia

The participatory research with children in conflict with the law in Ethiopia was conducted in two places – Addis Ababa and Dessie. Both towns are run by the partner organisations Forum on Street Children Ethiopia (FSCE) and Save the Children Sweden, having similar programs of diversion in a community based correction setup and providing preventive services to children who are at risk of being in conflict with the law. As much as possible children from different backgrounds are involved in the research workshops.
The reports from each location are presented separately in order not to capture the feelings and ideas of children in each location. As much as possible the views of the children are recorded directly.
