Parental Sessions Manual on Health Education for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Settings

This guide has been developed by the School Health and Nutrition Program to be used by parents. Expected learning outcomes from the six sessions include:

1. Understanding the importance of safe drinking water

2. Understanding the importance and techniques of washing hands

3. Understanding the causes, danger signs, preventative measures and treatment of diarrhea

4. Understanding the consequences of stomach worms and its preventative measures and treatment

5. Understanding the importance of using iodized salt

6. Understanding the importance of health and nutrition in educational outcomes
