OHCHR Report on the Rights of the Child and Violations of the Human Rights of Children in Armed Conflicts in Thailand’s Deep South

Save the Children and the Peace Resource Collaborative Foundation (PRC) conducted a consultation with a total of 49 respondents, including 30 children (15 girls, 15 boys) and 19 youths (4 females, 15 males). As part of this, a focused consultation with 8 youths (5 males, 3 females) was held on 25 February 2025. The report primarily reflects the discussions with the young people who are the key members of the peace dialogue initiative. Additional references were drawn from Save the Children’s internal assessment on Grave Violations Against Children, the Conflict Sensitivity Report, and documents of other child rights groups in the Deep South of Thailand.
