Needs and Vulnerability Assessment for the “Empowerment of Kosovo Vulnerable Communities Through Better and Equal Access to the Labour Market” Project (2024)

The needs assessment aims to identify the needs, underlying causes and challenges associated with school dropouts at lower and upper secondary education levels of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian girls and boys while incorporating a gender-sensitive analysis of factors contributing to drop-out rates. This process will facilitate the prioritization of interventions based on identified needs, ensuring efficient resource allocation. The needs assessment will serve as a baseline for the project, and its findings and recommendations will be shared with all relevant stakeholders.

This assessment also includes a vulnerability assessment, based on multi-dimensional poverty factors, and incorporating an intersectional gender lens targeting young girls and boys from Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities.
