Mexico: Briefing to the UN Committee on the elimination of discrimination against women

Amnesty International’s submission to the United Nations (UN) Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (the Committee), in advance of its examination of the combined seventh and eighth periodic report of Mexico. This briefing reflects Amnesty International’s research on discrimination against women in Mexico, in particular with regard to violence against women, human rights defenders, migrant women and sexual and reproductive rights.
