Mellan Flykt och Framtid: Barnkonventionen i Praktiken

Prepared by Emerga Research and Consulting on behalf of Save the Children Sweden, this report is a study of unaccompanied, asylum-seeking children’s initial experiences in Sweden. The experiences of eight youth are shared and written in cooperation with the children themselves.

All those interviewed arrived in Sweden as asylum-seekers in the fall of 2015. The study was carried out from 2016 to 2017, when the children were 14-18 years old. With their influence and cooperation, Save the Children Sweden provides recommendations for the asylum-seeking process in Sweden.
