Mapping and assessment of formal and informal child protection structures, systems and services in Tanzania

A comprehensive mapping and analysis of formal and informal child protection structures, systems and services in Tanzania, which emphasises on strengthening child welfare and protection systems, especially in relation to care and support for children affected by HIV/AIDS. The mapping seeks to inform upon the design, costing and operationalising of a child protection system model, and provide an analysis of the existing structures, systems, services, networks and resources. The report was prepared on behalf of UNICEF and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Tanzania.
