This study aims to contribute to increased understanding on effective localisation approaches, tools, and partnerships in East Africa (Uganda, South Sudan, and Somalia) with the intent to engage, leverage, and elevate local implementing partners (IPs), community-based organisations (CBOs), and government capacity to directly support or manage projects that strengthen CB-MHPSS in a sustainable way. The research has been guided by a community-based approach and has worked to unearth and map existing localisation models, practices, and networks, and explore local capacities, resources, and sustainable opportunities for creating and sustaining community-based mental health and psychosocial support solutions.
