Local Governments and Disaster Risk Reduction: Good practices and lessons learned

This paper is part of the “Making Cities Resilient” Campaign and aims at providing lessons learned and good practices on local governments and disaster risk reduction. They compiled several case studies, approaching this topic from different angles. From Peru to Canada, they all have one thing in common: they are illustrative examples of what role should governments play in Disaster Risk Reduction.
