Clinical mentorship (CM) is a method of practical training and guidance that encourages ongoing professional development to produce high-quality and long-lasting clinical care outcomes. This brief summarizes USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project’s (MaMoni MNCSP) support to the Government of Bangladesh to establish and implement a facility-driven clinical mentorship program from district hospitals to lower-level facilities to improve health care providers competencies and practices at work, according to national protocols and guidelines.
