LEARNING BRIEF | Implementation and Learning Experience from Introduction of OpenMRS+ in District Hospital and Daulatpur Upazila Health Complex of Manikganj District

This brief summarizes USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project’s (MaMoni MNCSP) work with the Government of Bangladesh on its OpenMRS platform (an open-source medical record system) development process and learning outcomes for implementation in selected Manikganj District health facilities. The MaMoni MNCSP team contextualized, customized, developed, and implemented the OpenMRS+-based system at the selected health facilities to bring digitalization to registration counters, service rooms, emergency, in-patient admission, laboratory, and pharmacy departments of the facilities.
