Lead the Change: Supporting child and youth-led advocacy activities in schools

This guide provides practical tools and strategies for educators to promote and support child-led advocacy in schools. Rooted in the principles of children’s rights and meaningful participation, it empowers teachers to help students understand their rights, identify issues that matter to them, and lead initiatives to create positive change. Developed by Save the Children Poland, the guide responds to the unique challenges faced by children in recent years—including the COVID-19 pandemic, refugee crises, and natural disasters—by encouraging a safe return to school and fostering youth engagement in advocacy.
