Keeping Our Promises 2013: Accountability and transparency overview

Save the Children’s first accountability and transparency report was released in 2012. In it were made a set of commitments concerning strategy and governance by 2015. This report measures success against those commitments and discusses what still needs to be done in order to become the most accountable and transparent organization possible.

In addition to detailing the progress made against commitments, this report lays out recommendations and commitments for further improvement in accountability and transparency practices in each of the following areas:

• Advocacy and campaigns
• Human resources practices for staff and volunteers
• Partnerships
• Response to supporters
• Governance
