Is it really that bad? An anthology of online sexual abuse of children and young people

Save the Children Denmark has been continuously working on the issue of online child sexual abuse. Since setting up a hotline for the reporting of online images of child sexual abuse in 2001, Save the Children Denmark has published a books and thematic booklets about interventions against sexual abuse and the circulation of abuse images circulated worldwide as well as the problem of posed photographs in the grey area between legal and illegal.

In 2014, Save the Children Denmark took further steps to systematize their communication on protecting the rights of children online. This publication is a collection of professional articles on different aspects of online child sexual abuse. It is written in non-technical prose and is intended to encourage discourse and further knowledge on the impact, effects, and ways of combating online sexual abuse.
