This report serves as an official background note for all stakeholders/donors engaged in understanding the interagency strategy and step-by-step process for strengthening community-based child protection responses in the Acholi, Lango and Teso regions of Uganda.
It documents the need for a review and provides a summary of the comprehensive interagency Child Protection Committees (CPC) assessment. The report clearly lays out the agreed upon next steps for moving a child protection strategy forward and developing Minimum Standards and Guiding Principles for strengthening and supporting community-based child protection structures.
