Humanitarian Responses by Local Actors in Croatia

The conflict in Syria resulted in massive displacement and migration since its outbreak in 2011. Since then, many refugees fled to Europe to escape the violence. This piece of research investigates the humanitarian response to the crisis in Croatia. It examines the level of involvement of local governments, decentralized and centralized bodies, and local communities in different aspects of crisis management.
