In 2025, children across the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe faced escalating humanitarian crises driven by conflict, economic instability, and climate-related risks. Save the Children remained present across occupied Palestinian territory, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Türkiye, North West Balkans (Serbia and the Balkans Migration and Displacement context), Albania, Kosovo, Poland, and Georgia, delivering life-saving support and long-term programmes to protect children’s rights and wellbeing.

This report highlights the organisation’s impact, reaching over 5 million people, including more than 3.3 million children, through integrated interventions in health, nutrition, education, child protection, and social support. From emergency responses in Gaza and Ukraine to resilience-building efforts across the region, the report showcases how programmes adapted to complex and rapidly changing contexts.

Through strong partnerships, locally led approaches, and child-centred programming, Save the Children continued to support vulnerable communities while amplifying children’s voices in shaping their futures. The report reflects not only measurable results but also stories of resilience, recovery, and hope, reaffirming a continued commitment to ensuring that no child left behind.
