The last 70 years in Colombia have been marked by internal armed conflict. Despite this, the country has made considerable progress in public health indicators over the last few years. Child mortality has been reduced by half, but work still needs to be done to reduce maternal mortality in the country.
This study examines the impact of armed conflict on reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and nutrition in Colombia between 1998 and 2016.
