Hazard-Perry County Cradle to Career Coalition: A Case Study for Community Impact, a Collective Impact Approach

This case study explores what Collective Impact (CI) looks like in Perry County, Kentucky—a rural community where the Hazard-Perry County Cradle to Career Coalition aligns and leverages community assets in pursuit of population-level change.  Communities like Hazard-Perry County demonstrate that it’s possible to establish and sustain concerted efforts aimed at transforming circumstances for children and families farthest from opportunity.  Save the Children’s efforts supporting the coalition demonstrate how locally-led, cross-sector collaboration sets stakeholders up for success in achieving common goals for children.
