Campaign Free Tibet (CFT) is an independent organisation formed in 1988 to provide political support for Tibetans and publicise the gross violations of human rights perpetrated as a result of the Chinese occupation of Tibet. CFT is formulated upon the principles of non-violence, party political and religious neutrality. The report “Genocide in Tibet – Children of Despair” was submitted by CTF to the 12th UN Committee on the Rights of the Child at its May-June 1996 Session.
