Fulfilling the Rights of Children, With Children, Today and Tomorrow

The Summit of the Future (SotF) and its outcome documents, the Pact for the Future and its annexes, the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations, are an important opportunity to demonstrate that international cooperation can effectively tackle current and emerging challenges which have a direct impact on children’s rights and wellbeing. This is a moment to galvanize action to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (2030 Agenda) for children and forge a new international consensus on inclusive, sustainable, and safe societies which fulfil children’s rights, now and in the future. Children’s views must be front and centre at the Summit, and in its lead up, to meet this challenge.
