This HRSP assessment results suggest that HRSPs are feasible, affordable and sustainable.
The study further recommends Save the Children (SC) to come up with a strategy for sustaining Menstrual Health Management (MHM); FCDO to consider another phase of funding for MHM in order to realize the full potential of plans and strategies that have already shown positive results; SC to capitalize on advocacy strategy for the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar (RGZ) to include MHM components in the planning and budgeting processes, SC to review the potential that lies in good PPP and forge partnership with a like-minded institution(s); SC to create linkages to community actors who will provide HRSPs learning opportunity for community members in the neighborhood; SC to invest on community programs focusing on enhancing community capacity in making HRSPs and lastly, SC to advocate for the parents/caregivers’ HRSP education program integration.
