Latin America is a region of incalculable wealth and cultural diversity. However, the subcontinent’s nations generally have a poor quality of life and have little respect for children’s rights. As a consequence, this document, drafted by Latin American children and adolescents, is a diagnosis or identification of the region’s problems. The children have focused their work on issues like health, instruction, sexual education, child labour, and justice and protection, using group dynamics and dividing the region into two groups: the Andean nations, comprising Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Mexico, and the Southern Cone region, including Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay.
