Save the Children UK
16,000 children under five will die today. About 250 million children of school age (two out of five) do not receive adequate education. These are the children that the world has forgotten.
For nearly a century, Save the Children has been fighting to take children out of poverty. We are today determined to defeat an enemy just as deadly and destructive: the discrimination that leads the useless death of millions of children who do not have the chance to learn or are exposed to violence, only because of their identity.
This report tells the story of these forgotten children and explains what needs to be done so that each child counts, without exception.
