Estilos de crianza y cuidado infantil en Santiago de Chile. Algunas reflexiones para comprender la violencia educativa en la familia

This publication presents the use of parental child rearing practices of children between 4 – 9 years of age in the metropolitan area of the Chilean capital, particularly the infliction of corporal punishment. It contrasts models of child-rearing used by parents or other caregivers, and explores, in a general sense, disciplinary measures applied to young children, and modes of conflict resolution in the course of daily child-rearing.
