CUBIC, The Center for Utilizing Behavioral Insights for Children
Save the Children US (SCUS) is committed to building a workplace where every voice is heard and where staff feel confident to raise concerns. To support this, SCUS partnered with CUBIC—the Center for Utilizing Behavioral Insights for Children— to design and pilot practical, low-cost interventions intended to increase staff reporting of potential Code of Ethics violations through existing complaint channels.
The results were powerful: a series of behaviorally informed emails doubled the likelihood of reporting among office staff, while testing of new QR-coded stickers for childcare teams offered lessons about the limits of accessibility and the importance of organizational culture in shaping behavior. Together, these findings are helping SCUS build a more transparent, accountable, and responsive workplace.
