CUBIC Impact Brief: Increasing teacher attendance in South Sudan

In 2022, CUBIC implemented a research project in partnership with Save the Children South Sudan, using behavioral science to explore the root causes of teacher absenteeism and low uptake of the new curriculum plan. Following a behavioral diagnosis comprising literature reviews, workshops and in-field research, the project identified four solutions to address teacher absenteeism and low motivation levels among teachers.
