During the last decades, the humanitarian community has struggled to find durable solutions to displacement, given the complex factors that are involved. There is an emerging consensus that better coordination between humanitarian, development and peace actors could provide a framework to tackle the issues associated with protracted displacement and create long-term solutions.
This report focuses on a locally-led program in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia which reflects this approach, highlighting useful insights and recommendations.
