A series of earthquakes have shaken Christchurch, New Zealand since 2010. The Maori population have successfully implemented resilience and recovery operation. This qualitative research, in partnership with the local Iwi (tribe) Ngāi Tahu, aims at identifying the factors that have facilitated the disaster risk reduction and management operations.
