Collective Impact Kindergarten Readiness Strategy Development Guide for Communities

Communities engaging in Collective Impact work set ambitious, data-informed goals to guide their efforts to improve local children’s lives. Communities often find it challenging, however, to develop measurable strategies to achieve these goals. This guide provides practical direction for doing so. It presents examples of evidence-based strategies, supported by peer-reviewed research, for increasing the proportion of local children who enter kindergarten ready to succeed. Communities may choose to adopt the strategies presented in the guide or use them as a resource for understanding the types of approaches that have been shown to make a meaningful difference.
