Community Impact Guidebook

Communities in rural America face a variety of challenges, such as high rates of child poverty, lack of access to high-quality early education programming, teacher shortages, as well as fewer public and private investments. However, these facts only tell part of the story. We know that rural communities are home to extraordinary leaders, high-quality programs,  and deeply committed families who share a vision for a brighter future. To support transformative change for children in rural America, Save the Children joins communities in applying our place-based Community Impact approach which activates, aligns, and leverages community assets for systems change.
