Save the Children Fiji seeks to raise awareness of children’s rights including protection from violence and exploitation and establish public/sector partnerships in enhancing protection of children against all forms of abuse.This study is a situational analysis of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) and Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) in Fiji. It attempts to examine the prevalence and knowledge of CSEC and CSA in Fiji and is part of a broader process of creating a regional knowledge base on these issues. The main objectives ot the study are to: document the existing situation of CSEC and CSA in Fiji; identify and analyze the causes and risk factors surrounding the issue of CSEC and CSA, including the profiles of children, exploiters and key actors; and document and analyze government, civil society and country-based international organization responsibilities, related interventions and level of coordination on CSEC and CSA.
