This benchmark study is part of a series, produced by the Global Child Forum and the Boston Consulting Group, that was first initiated in 2013. The first study was completed to provide a baseline for understanding how and in what way companies address their impact children and their livelihoods.

This particular study embarks on a regional perspective, Southern Africa. It investigates if and how two hundred and seventy-one publicly listed companies report on children’s rights. The purpose of this study is to create a benchmark in order to begin analyzing trends and tracking of progress on how the corporate sector addresses children’s rights over time.
