Child Rights Situational Analysis in Thailand 2024

After the endorsement of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in 1990, Save the Children began conducting the Child Rights Situation Analysis (CRSA), with the objective of informing strategic planning and implementation.

In the 2013 Guidelines developed by Save the Children, the CRSA is defined as “an in-depth description of the extent to which children’s rights are being enjoyed and an analysis of the obstacles to, and enablers of, their realization.”

In April 2024, Save the Children Thailand published the ToRs to update the pre-existing CRSA, to develop the next 3-year strategic cycle (2025-2027). Save the Children Thailand wants to understand critical changes in child rights situation in each of the thematic areas analysed.
