Child Protection Systems- Eastern and Southern Africa – Maestral International. Expert Consultation Nairobi, September 2011

A presentation by Maestral International, which compiles the results of the mapping and assessment process of child protection systems in the Eastern and Southern Africa Region (ESAR). It shows an overview on how to develop, prioritize, cost and implement programmes to develop and strengthen national child protection systems in the ESAR countries. This material is part of the preparations for and follow up to the Expert Consultation on Strengthening National Child Protection Systems in Sub-Saharan Africa, held in Nairobi, 28th-30th September 2011, organised by the Regional Child Protection Systems Working Group for West, Central, Eastern, and Southern Africa, which includes Plan International, Save the Children International, and UNICEF.
