In Ukraine, children are more likely to live in poverty compared to adults as the poverty rate among families with children is higher than in families without children. Poverty rates are highest in families with three or more children, and children under 3 years of age are the most affected by monetary poverty. However, national programs supporting families with children have significant impact on reducing child poverty. This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of child poverty in Ukraine.
