Case Study about the state of children with special educational needs in Kosovo and initiatives to improve the situation. The project program ‘Promoting inclusive education for children with disabilities at pre-school level’ implemented by Save the Children in Kosovo promotes inclusive education for pre-school children with disabilities and provides training for parents of children with disabilities, other children, and school staff. It is aimed at challenging the stigma surrounding disability and create inclusive learning environments and opportunities. This is the first time a model supporting the inclusion of children with disabilities at pre-school level is made a reality in Kosovo, and with the support of the Ministry of Education, it will be extended to all municipalities in Kosovo.
