Save the Children Sweden
Save the Children Sweden has since the beginning of the 2000s conducted studies that reflect changes in children’s living conditions in Sweden. It is important to follow the statistics over time in order to gain an in-depth understanding of how societal development affects children’s welfare. In this report we see that child poverty in Sweden has decreased marginally to 9.2%. This means that almost 200,000 children lived in financial vulnerability in 2019 according to Save the Children Sweden´s measures for child poverty in Sweden.
