Hösten 2022 bildades Tidöregeringen, som tidigt aviserade att det svenska biståndet skulle reformeras i grunden. Sedan dess har man presenterat en rad reformer, inklusive nya tematiska och geografiska strategier för hur biståndet ska fördelas och genomföras.
Med barnkonventionen som grund har Rädda Barnen drivit på för att Tidöregeringens biståndsreform ska genomföras med ett barnrättsperspektiv och med särskilt fokus på de mest utsatta barnen. I denna policyanalys har Rädda Barnen undersökt hur Sveriges stöd till barns rättigheter genom biståndet har påverkats av Tidöregeringens reformer.

In the autumn of 2022, the Tidö Government was formed and early on announced that Swedish development aid would undergo fundamental reform. Since then, it has presented a series of reforms, including new thematic and geographic strategies for how aid should be allocated and implemented.
With the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child as its foundation, Save the Children Sweden has advocated for the Tidö Government’s aid reform to be implemented from a child rights perspective, with a particular focus on the most vulnerable children. In this policy analysis, Save the Children Sweden has examined how Sweden’s support for children’s rights through development aid has been affected by the Tidö Government’s reforms.
