Diarrohea is a leading cause of under-five child mortality in India as well as globally. Yet, evidence suggests that most of these deaths can be prevented.

The objective of this research paper is to identify the factors that have contributed to the death of children due to diarrhoea in rural and urban settings across India, and thus help ensure that adequate measures to tackle this issue are introduced.
