This joint study from the USAID-funded Services de Santé à Grand Impact (SSGI) project in Mali (High-Impact Health Services Project) combines quantitative and qualitative data collection from 607 village health solidarity funds (598 created and 9 reinforced by project support). This study set out to assess the socio-demographic characteristics, group membership, and amount of funds disbursed and recovered, and to follow up on their assessment of the management, utility, and impact of the savings on the health and wellbeing of community members.
