This study contains facts about attitudes, prevalence and forms of physical and humiliating punishment. It is based on data obtained in a series of workshops developed between 2002 and 2004 in 14 countries, with the objective of sensitizing participants to the effects of physical and humiliating punishment and the need to eradicate it.
